Eilertsens Kodeknekkeri is a one-person consulting company run by Harald Eilertsen. I do consulting work in software development and information security. In addition I host some websites and other services for clients.
I care deeply about a free and decentralized internet, about open standards and about free and open source sofware.
I have been programming computers since the early 1980's, first as a hobby, then professionally since 1999. I have worked in development of anti-virus software, high end video conferencing and telepresence systems, and with porting OpenJDK to FreeBSD. I have also done security auditing and penetration testing in the fin-tech sector with PCI requirements as well as malware analysis and vulnerability research in web applications.
I have a Masters degree in Microelectronics Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and I am a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)².
I am one of the core contributors to the Hubzilla fediverse server.
