Hubzilla is a powerful free and open source server for what has become known as the fediverse – or sometimes the social web.
Throughout it's development it has pioneered some important features for making federated social networks safer as well as more private, resilient, inclusive and censorship resistant. This talk will explore these features, and how they fit together to contribute to a safer and more inclusive fediverse.
This talk will be held at foss-north 2025 April 15 in Gothenburg, Sweden. See the full schedule.
